Singapore, what an absolutely fabulous city, recommend to anyone for a visit. We have walked and walked today and amazingly we have not seen one piece of flattened chewing gum on the pavement, no cigarette butts, no litter, no plastic bags in the water, absolutely no litter at all. All of a sudden the day for getting my bike to the bike shop to be boxed up has sneaked up on me - it has to go later this morning as we are off out for a family Christmas gathering by 11.30am. Last cycle ride this afternoon to me friend Sue's for Boxing Day lunch and tea - 4 degrees C and very grey. Had decided that would not cycle home - but put the bike ...

... s. We then had the big family lunch all over again. No watching or talking about the Sydney to Hobart! We did discuss the snow and the impending snow storm. It has started to snow in Les Houches, which is great. The temperatures are set to drop in the UK too.

Tonight was an early night by most, Liz and Mike, Matt and I stayed up and chatted for a while about the kids.
