    ... to board our second and final flight bound for Paris, this time we are on an Emirates A380-800....and happy to report no annoying people and the in flight entertainment working without fault. Seven hours later and we land at Charles de Gaulle airport, France! The line through customs take about 30mins to clear then off to the baggage area.....the bag collection takes nearly one hour....god only knows why it took so long.... We find the 'sortie' ...

    Why is Australia so far away from places I want to go? For you guys it is 12.30. For me it is 5.30 sat and I left home Friday at 11am!, premium economy is not bad. Reasonable space compared to economy and much cheaper than business. Chatted to some nice people. One was a chap heading to China where he sells lots of barossa wine. The other a private investment banker from Hong Kong. New airport inHK amazing. 80 gates, 60 million ...

    ... hung around at Fed Square to use the free WiFi before making my way over to the Eureka Tower where I had a ticket to visit the Skydeck - the southern hemisphere's highest viewing platform.
