Day 16 - Travel to Ko Samui
Three minivans, 2 ferries, one big boat, one big bus and a taxi later we had crossed Thailand and were on the eastern island of Ko Samui. Day 18 - Ko Samui
Today was a busy day on a tour of the island. We started off going to the north east of the island to see some Wats and Buddhas. Kate once again loved all the glittering, ornate details, Craig meanwhile was feeling a little Wat-ed out, and over-heated. Apparently Kate's pretty peacock hand fan wasn't effective enough for him.

Day 17 - Ko Samui
After the long and awful journey yesterday we decided to spend the day on the beach. It was a beautiful sunny day and very hot. So hot that Craig caught the sun a little on his right shoulder, and shins , and shoulders, and chest, and tummy.

Wow what a place...shame there was no-one to share
I am so glad I decided to stay in Ko Samui. I moved across to Chaweng beach which is the nicest but most developed beach on Ko Samui. The sand was soft and white, the water calm and clear and the sea somewhere between green and blue. Amazing. The place itself is very touristy...Mcdonalds, drunk English people and lots of Irish pubs. The hotel is …
