Heute ging's mal richtig rund in coffs Harbour, wir haben uns motivieren können, einen ganzen Tag unterwegs zu sein, eine wahre Leistung bei der sich eingebuergten lethargie. Morgens bin ich mal wieder joggen gegangen (und habe mich gnadenlos verlaufen, coffs ist anscheinend doch nicht so klein), während der Rest mit dem Kanu über den Fluss schipperte. Surf's Up.
... but still, surfing's surfing! And it was so much fun :D fell off a million times got battered by some huge waves but made up for it with the feeling if achievement of catching my first wave on my own! I could definitely get used to that lifestyle (though maybe with a couple if extra duvets)!! After the hilarities of viewing our photos from the lesson, and a quick shower and change, we're back on the coach heading to Byron Bay for a chilled afternoon and a night out. Love ...
Coffs Harbour
... and had a toilet on board. It also made a couple of 30min stops where you could buy hot food or just stretch your legs. I slept for a few hours on the coach, but after I checked into my hostel at 8am I went back to bed for a few hours.

Day 23: Another move, another harbour
... a local bus that left at 13:00 and took 40 minutes including stops. I headed for the bus station threw my bags in a locker and jumped on another bus to the koala sanctuary. When I arrived I spotted a sign that said 'helpers wanted, apply within' so in I went. The lady at the desk said that instead of paying and going in and being a tourist they would let me in for free but I had to help out for 2 hours. Canberra en nieuwe WWOOF-host
... en Sydney. Verder is het een kleine stad (ruim 300 000 inwoners) waarbij de meeste mensen in cirkelvormige woonwijken wonen. Het centrum is opgezet rond 2 grote wegen die vanaf Capitol Hill over een meer gaan. Daaromheen dan lekker veel symmetrische zijwegen en leuke ovaaltjes, jullie zullen je er vast wel iets bij kunnen voorstellen.
Het Parlement is pas in 1988 geopend. Daarvoor zetelde het in een tijdelijk parlement wat in 1927 gebouwd werd. ...
