... I went back to my room. When i took the lift, in came an American, this was the conversation that followed:
- American: Damn, your tall, you play basket ball?
- Me: No
- American: You play football
- Me: No
- American: where are you from
- Me : Belgium
- American: Belgium? Is that Germany?
- Me : NO, IT DEFINITELY IS NOT GERMANY
- American: Do you kick ass?
- Me: Yep
- American: Bey then.
I love this island. I loved the boat out. We nearly got hit by a speed boat!! No cars only a few for police and emergency services. Its all beachy with sandy streets and shoreline stores. Very Thai esque. With big green lush hills. tomorrow Lopes Mendes is on the cards after a 2 hrs walk there. Its apparently an amazingly beautiful beach. Can't wait to get there!! Would also recommend this hostel for Jose alone. ...

... St. John’s, Newfoundland and the city is relativity hilly and has a feel like the ‘mid-levels’ in the Central area of Hong Kong Island.Lots of stairs to get everywhere, some fine old buildings and it even has a replica of La Scala in Milan.
