      ... is no way I can argue with a Jew who wants to see Jesus. Well I had no idea how massive this statue was or how well known this attraction was in Rio but evidently it is a must see in Rio. It was incredible! It was so big and the view was so amazing. After we saw JC, we went back the hostel to get ready for Carnaval.       ... men playing 2-on-2 games and were so impressed. They serve the ball from the same spot you would normally serve it, but they build up a little mound of sand, place the ball on it, and kick it over the net to start the rally! It was wild. We also rented bikes one day and learned a very important lesson...before you pay for the bike, SEE it first! Our bikes were junk and the most uncomfortable ride I think I have ever had!       ... feet and hurting like hell, thinking of nothing better than a good nights sleep, but alas it was not to be ...... the hostel owners, 2 scots, 2 americans and a couple of others decided to make it into a big night of Skol beers and passion fruit caipiranha (saffers out there - passion fruit we know as granadilla are the size of a mangos here !).
