... It ****** it down. All day. Initially I was grateful for the rain as I'd feared that my whiter than white skin would melt like a nazi drinking from an ill-chosen grail cup (potentially obscure Indiana Jones reference). At the first stop, we grabbed our snorkelling equipment and dove in. Once in the water the rain didn't bother us at all and we set about looking at the varying species of fish. Another tour boat rolled up and a Brit who'd been on the Rio ...

The Iguazu waterfall Brazil / Argentina (#5) system makes up 1.7 miles of the Iguzu River, divided by islands along its edge, and consists of 275 waterfalls. These falls range from 197 to 269 feet high. The average height of most of the falls is 210 feet.
The name Iguaz˙ (also known as Iguašu or Iguassu) originates from two words that mean ‘water' and ‘big'. These words don't quite ...

... it instantly! The streets are lined with lovely little boutiques (above our budget!) and shops selling souvenirs. We found the restaurant which was overlooking the canal and was packed inside and out! Once we got our pizza we knew why-it was delicious! We had to try the ice cream of course too and chose the ferrero rocher flavour which was amazing! We went to sleep happy that night! The next morning after breakfast we decided to skip ...

... there wouldn't be much space.

While we were in paraty there was a religious festival for the ascension of Christ which meant one thing....Party in Paraty! The town was buzzing with stages and stalls serving food and booze. We stayed around the main square where that was happening most nights but outside that there didn't seem to be any nightclubs only late bars. So it might not be a hotspot for hardcore partiers when it's not in festival mode.

          entoure ...
