Paraty is a beautiful colonial town with a very well preserved historical centre. It feels like stepping back into time with the cobblestone streets that are devoid of traffic. I feel like I have said this about most places that we have visited on this trip but I really like it here. Roaming the streets and taking in the beautiful architecture was amazing. It really is a picturesque little spot.

We also headed up to the fort which wasnt what we expected because the museum was about dancing and singing, but you did get a good view however and it was good to know about the traditional dances. We also walked along the towns beach which wasn´t the best but a quiet spot to have our lunch.
