... including a 30minute boat transfer. We had a stop for lunch at what seems like a service station. They have an all-you-can-eat style buffet and you take your plate to the end of the buffet where a lady weighs it, gives you a sticker for your receipt and that is what you pay! Again it was quite a large meal with lamb stew, rice, beans, cauliflower cheese, salad, carrots, chicken. I was hungry. Our lunch cost us £10 for both. Oh, I forgot to mention. From Paraty we travelled to Ilha Grande which is a tropical island just off the coast. It is largely a national park and there are no cars, and only 8000 inhabitants.
