... a few tears) It didn't sink in for a while, we went to go through the gates at the park and the guard said "you can leave your bags locked up here for your day trip" and Jt replied " no need, we are staying here at the Sheraton" ..eek! Arriving at the grand entrance to the Sheraton I caught my first glimpse of the falls, overwhelming. ... to take- we did them all. Our first stop was at the enormous garganta de diablo, which was absolutely amazing but frighteningly so. The roar of the falls was so loud and it was hard to pose for pictures with your eyes open from the constant spray of water! ... of course, it was fine and we landed safely - when we got out, it wasn't even raining there!! That was certainly a memory to remember!! The other group were still up in their helicopter, so we waited for them to come back, and just as they landed the cloud formations were like nothing I have ever seen! ... route but thats fine - still got there in the end! The hostel was nice! It was busy and had a laidback feel - with an outdoors kitchen, pool, outside deck area and inside sitting area. We were luckily able to check in early but as Linda wasn't we let her put her stuff in our room. After getting ready we went to get cash out and then headed back to the bus station.
