Josh left early on our final day and unfortunately it was raining all day. We made the most of no sun or people to distract us to sort our lives out - check banks, back up and upload photos and write the blog! We had a chilled evening, booked our transfer to Rio and prepared ourselves to a week of craziness in Rio for the World ...

We had no idea why we were being moved, but dutifully moved hoping for the best. This is the hardest thing for us, as we pick up one of the 29 words and then when you try get their attention to find out what's happening they stream out more Portuguese at an even faster pace, not that I would have a clue anyway... We get into the new line with ...

... But to make up for the ****** weather, we met the nicest couple - she's from Sao Paulo (let's call her Ci) and he's an Italian (let's call him Ferru) who seems to have been to every interesting place there is to see. We pretty much spent the next 3 days on the island with them - not just because they're local (Ferru has been living in Brazil for the last 2 years so he's quite local himself - even speaks Portuguese quite fluently) and can help us order ...
