If I have dashed all your hopes of a close turtle in counter fear not you can wander down the beach to swim with some wild green sea turtles that are most likely more then twice your age. Just look out for people who appear to be giving a rock a good ol' back ...

      Along the journey we stopped for a short while at a rest stop and when we saw Pizza Hut all our senses went nuts as in Nepal, Bhutan and India we only ate local food. The pizza was very delicious. :) On the way to our destination we were driving near the sea and we have seen the damaged areas by tsunami in 2004. You are still able to see destroyed houses but I was completely swept away from my feet by the turquoise colours of the sea and the golden sand and ...

      ... patterns on the fabric. From there it was dipped in dye, then boiling water to remove the wax. The fabric was hand sewn into all sort of wraps and garments. The colors and craftsmanship were beautiful! Later that night Teresia, Ludda and I enjoyed a bottle of wine on the balcony before some card games and dinner. Only a few days left, really going to miss this place and the lovely people.
