    ... the artist haunt of Soller, and back to Palma. We hoped for entrance to the famous cathedral, but alas, our timing was off. Still we enjoyed the exterior and the medina of old Palma, including a visit to the 1200 ruins of Arab baths from Moorish times.

    ... and headed home at 2am. It was pretty sad saying goodbye to some great people who I'm really glad to have met - and I really hope that we can stay in touch. So, that's it - I'm done!! Dreading the journey home tomorrow but actually I have a concert to look forward to when we land in London, and I really cannot wait to see everyone at home.     ... to contemplate my time here and start saying my goodbyes. For the evening, we had a quiet dinner to ourselves in a pizza place that had been recommended, and ended up trying out a few different bars afterwards (LAB, Idem, Prohibition) to see where would be best for my farewell drinks tomorrow. Suddenly going home feels very real and I'm not at all sure how I feel about it - really can't wait to see everyone... But was it long enough ...

    ... and had dinner at La Boveda, and stopped for "Spain's second best ice cream" in town. Palma held a "nit de art" (night of art) and was very very busy. A few galleries were open late and there were a few extra exhibitions. We stopped to watch a group of dancers and musicians fuse different types of dance including ballet, tap, flamenco and street. After all of that excitement, we had a final drink in Havana before bed - last day of school tomorrow - ...
