hotels near the river, about 10 blocks from the Plaza. Had to go to the ferry
terminal to get decent info and a map and then settled on a nearby hotel after

So, I got up this morning and had that hot shower I was so hoping for. I went down at 7:30 am and had breakfast. The woman who prepares the breakfasts and cleans the rooms (I forget her name) looked after me one last time. She always greets you with a smile.
