Portland!!!
... to be! I ate some SERIOUSLY amazing food too - my favourites being beet (beetroot) salad, black beans (in ANYTHING), jalapeno mushroom and garlic pizza, and some delicious Vegan ice cream!! Who am I kidding, I LOVED it all!!! I also got to have my first "grilled cheese sandwich".
We saw waterfalls, wine country, valleys, food carts, markets, a hospital which had a gondola from one part of another... a large part of the greenery ...
An Early Visit To The Oregon Garden
... alive with color. Some rhododendrons are blooming also, especially the ones with lighter colored flowers. Molly is always well behaved and Maverick has obviously felt the serenity of the garden and has been calm. What a guy! We spend an unhurried hour in the garden and decide to head the short distance to downtown Silverton.

Portland - A city to explore
... wines for the second time. This time we were able to buy some! Unfortunately, since we were headed into Canada, we were limited to the amount we could buy. And also unfortunately, since we live in Pennsylvania, we couldn't have any shipped home. Just have to go back I guess!

Hanging out in Portland
Because of our not so good luck with planes when we went to Asia's graduation, we decided to go early and spend the day with Mary and Greg in Portland. Had fun @ Saturday market and the Chinese Gardens. They have awesome iced tea. Greg made us great kabobs. Had fun seeing all the work they have done since we were last there and Woody didn't even try to bite us. We may even be friends ...
