I had an OK hotel a couple blocks up the hill from the beach but with a great view overlooking the coast. I spent a little while on the city beach below the hotel which was pretty trashy. I know there are really fine beaches just outside of town.

This is our 1st stop: Day 1 - 40 th bday -breakfast on veranda, kiting off our resort & meal in tree house Day 2 - 20 km downwinder with friends we met to Emacou (I think) followed by fine fish lunch Day 3 - trip to Lagoina lagoon and short down winder with French people.. Late in the afternoon we arrive at Canto Verde which is a small fishing village on the coast. The whole community is in danger of being swallowed by the sand dunes. We camped on the beach, it was lovely. Nice swimming. Up to see the fisherman leave for their early foray to the horizon.
