... it didn't seem to bother him though and he gave us more shots. We went to a beach club called blue parrott where we were given wrist bands that allowed us free entry and unlimited free drinks, we couldn't believe it and thought we'd have to pay for something but we actually did get free drinks all night long.. It was incredible we wish every club was like that! The music was really good and the atmosphere was such fun! We met a friendly group ...

... eagerly discussing the day's events, enjoying the smell of fresh tortillas drifting down the street and watching small children playing on the side of the street. This joyful and carefree energy is contagious and we have caught the bug.

Thursday 26th September - Playa del Carmen was further north than we had expected being some 300 km from the border.
The border crossing went easily, and we were in front of the tourist buses so there were no queues. Our bags crossed the first border Belize, whilst we were in immigration, and the next one in the boot of our taxi, without stopping for inspection. The main road in Mexico is generally dual carriageway with 110km/hr limit so we made much better, and more ...

... hula hoops that were on fire which were truly amazing. The daiquiri side of my brain told me that it would be awesome to have a crack at it, however am pleased to say that the side of my brain that likes my eyebrows in tact won out in the end.

Sorry for no photos, may need to do a mass upload at a later point as ironically is far easier to find free wifi over here than an actual computer. Belize tomorrow!
