... br> Some came back after getting pizza, but instead of finishing Casino Night they were all completely content to sit in a bunch of bean bags across the floor, talking about their schools and hobbies and whatnot. Fine by me though it meant more boredom. Everyone luckily went back to their cabins around midnight to sleep, so I stayed another 30 minutes and then closed up early. Good thing I have the day off tomorrow and I can sleep in! [[I said this too soon ...
We spent a week in Solana Beach, visited with Mike's sister Cheryl, and met with our nephew Jeremy and Tiffany during our stay. The weather was just lovely, the beaches wonderful, the food and conversation great. Couldn't have asked for a better week!
... and several lists later my bags are packed. Traveling light is not exactly my strong suit but I did my best. I'd rather carry a few extra pounds than be wishing for something back in the states.
While I'm gone I'll have email, facebook, and skype (sans video) so feel free to contact me on here or there. Internet is not guaranteed daily and I have a busy schedule so it may take me a few days to reply.

... and we drank beers that are made by monks that are really strong and come in 750ml bottles. After drinking one of them and the 24 we got through between 4 of us before we left we all started getting pretty drunk. During our meal a huge group of people on bikes rode past on the street, the waiter told us they do it every week and there is about 1000 people in the group now, a lot were in costumes. ... with the service and the quality of the planes. The air hostesses are neat and tidy and their manners and dealings with the customers are a level higher than any of the other airlines I have used.
While saying that - the courtesy of the Americans we have met are such that you have to see before you could believe. They are so helpful and nothing seems too much trouble. While there are exceptions to the rule, I would have to ...
