... we needed to get south and it being a Friday afternoon it appeared as though this was the plan of a significant number of other people - so we experienced the Las Angeles traffic first hand but eventually made it down to San Diego by 21h00. A quick visit to "Flippin Pizza" for some supper (huge Pizza's - one and a quater fed our entire starving 6) and some online shopping for tomorrows tickets and we were in bed fast ...
... us. I was so excited to be so close to this wonderful animals. Then we headed down to the viewing area where we could watch them swim past us. After we spent some time watching them swim we had paid to have lunch with the killer whales so off we went to have lunch with them. Our table was a metre away from the water (all good had a glass fence up to protect us from the splashing). So for lunch it was a buffet and then we got to watch the Killer Whales jump out ...
... to Houston, Texas, arriving at 5.30pm. Long flight we thought and then another long flight home.
This flight had no food but free drink, hence the turkey and rolls. We got on the plane to discover the flight time is just over 2 and half hours.
