... were made and all lanes lead to San Marco and the Rialto bridge eventually. Dodging the pigeons and the thousands of tourists, Beaver made her way across piazza San Marco, taking a few photos as she went, but once she spied the queue to go in she decided against it and after snapping the bridge of sighs and various other Venetian delights she scurried back into the backstreets where it was less hectic and more interesting. By now it was ...

... I'd read last night about the "Must Do's" in Venice had suggested that getting "lost", away from the huge crowds was the best way to really see the place. We stumbled upon some lovely, quiet streets and squares. The Vivaldi museum was a great find! Not only was it free to enter, it was interesting as well! They had one section of the museum that showed the steps taken to hand make a violin! It's very precise work! We found a quiet Piazza to have a ...

Well, today was probably one of my favorite days we have had yet. In the morning we went down to breakfast. I had hot chocolate, a croissant, a pound cake, and bread. After, we went out exploring. Yesterday, we saw people feeding the pigeons in San Marco, and they would land on their arms. I thought that was cool, so I put my pizza crusts in my pocket until the next day, when my mom said we ...
