We left this morning at 9.30am to visit these islands. The first one (Murano) is known for its first class glass manufacturing. ... the lapping of the water is an incredible sight. Head through the maze of alleys making our way to Saint Marks Square. I have to confess, I made a purchase in Venice, nothing memorable to put adorn our walls at home - no. Nothing sentimental, but something that will always remind me of this beautiful place whenever I wear them - a pair of tan boots. Nice! A wonderful memory of this remarkable place. Glass wares, Venetian masks and oil paintings are around everywhere. Sadly not ...

... all but gone although I did get the most terrible fright when Branka started talking on her microphone in the bus which woke me up and frightened me to death - causing a return of headache and amusement for Phil! It was a lovely day but for once I was glad to return "home". Beautiful Dubrovonik - not enough time! DOVIDENJA Our next two days are spent at sea returning to Barcelona . We are looking forward to it but sad at the impending end of the cruise. It is strange at how ...
