Yesterday we arrived in Venice, successfully negotiating the Italian railway system once again - it really is very efficient and foolproof. My first impressions of Venice were so different to how I had imagined it, so much better - I think cities in Italy have just got progressively better as we have moved north. Possibly more expensive too!
