... loud at night, we can get earplugs at the reception...but later we found out why!
As we arrived early that day we had time to explore a little bit of Playa. First we went to a little market place where we had some really good tacos at a small food booth. That was our first taco since we arrived in Mexico. For 60 Pesos (about CHF 4.00) we had tacos con pollo embanado, con rez (beef) and con carne asada. A little bit ...
... bar girl was Swedish. All of them made us feel at home and Daniel, getting into the swing of things, kept giving everyone free tequila shots. Proudly Cathy had her fist tequila shot in 30 years! After the second shot the bar girl very kindly snuck apple juice into our glasses, the 4th had us trying to distribute what we could into other peoples glasses! After the usual scenario with Mexican planning and last minute dropouts we were at the marina ready to head ...
... water. Every one is so nice and helpful in Belize so far. Even the dogs are nice! Every where we go the dogs from the hostel follow us for hours at a time and pick up their doggy friends along the way. They wait for us to eat breakfast and tag along on the way home. Its the cutest thing ever. They are free to run around where ever they want and swim in the ocean. I have actually never seen happier dogs in my life! Anyways that's all for now!
