Its always sad to leave a vacation at the end of the week. We didn't really worry about how the ride down would go, we knew we would be tired but we figured it was the best solution for little miss, the ride home on the other hand scared the living heck out of me. There was no real way to drive overnight this time around. We decided to wake up at 5:00 and head out as early as we could. ...
... was absolutely mesmerized. She spent the whole rest of the cruise pointing to dolphins and birds as she saw them, giggling and smiling, dancing and waving to everyone else on board. Once we got back to the harbor we had two different groups of people tell us she was the hit of the trip (which of course made my heart swell with pride).
I would highly recommend sea blaster for dolphin cruises, they make it so much fun ...
... just a few hours earlier. We played in the sand, and ran up and down the beach and decided take little miss out into the water, being that it was finally calm she loved it more than she had all week, she smiled and giggled and didn't cry once. Hubby went out into the water and went under trying to show her that it wasn't big and scary. Apparently it worked, when we got back on the sand up to our umbrella she instantly turned back around ...
... but it was easy to find. When we pulled up we saw the huge building surrounded by about 50 airplanes and helicopters on display. We walked the whole outside first, checking out all the planes on display, it was so cool to see how big these planes are in real life, and little miss had a blast running along the pathways to her hearts content (other than the couple of times she fell and scraped her knees :( ...
... and it didn't disappoint. The portions were huge, little miss and I could easily have shared a meal rather than ordering her her own (which we did when we went back a couple days later) and the view from the tables were amazing, they had big open air windows looking out on to the beach and the gulf. If you could picture a beach front seafood restaurant in your head, it would be exactly what this place looks like. After dinner and a 5 ...
