... room at the newly built/ still being constructed, Island Dive Resort and headed off to the pier for our boat day trip. Our guide for the day was an absolute joke of a character, one of a kind! This Thai gent had somehow picked up a cockney accent, used lots of hand gestures and was extremely flamboyant. To begin with we were slightly taken back but by the end of the trip we found him very endearing and comical. We won't forget him in a hurry! The first stop ...
After spending 4 nights in the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, we decided to head down to the south of Thailand for a bit of R&R!!! Sairee is much nicer because you have the sand beach and it’s full of life right next to it, restaurants, resorts, shops but not big crowds of people so still a good vibe. We went to eat to a BBQ place that Pedro recommended. The place was full and we even had to wait to be ...
