... i said I wasn't a little nervous. For one, we jumped into the back of a ute which had some seats stuck in the back and a make shift roof. Secondly. my most recent dive experience in Melbourne left a lot to be desired (i was in tears at home after it, and felt like complete rubbish). We arrived at the pier in Ao Nang and were greeted by some really hot and fit looking Swedish people. To suggest that I was intimidated is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Mum was freaking out as well, ...
... so wasn't too hot but every now and again we would get a bit of sea spray in our faces to wake us up! Took abo 2 hours to get to Ko phi phi and to out hostel but we couldn't check in until 1 so we just sat in the shade until we could check in. Not the best idea we'd had ...
... we were there? You betcha. What did we do? We spent A LOT of time in the Irish bar playing pool and when we weren't there you could find us at one of the bars overlooking the beach promenade people watching. One advantage of it being chav central - people watching was fabulous. We ate a lot, drunk a lot and slept a lot. Another plus is that it's a gateway to a host of islands located a short distance from the coast and of course the famous Railey Beach. On my Birthday day of fun ...
