Marseille is a nice city, with the majority of people being very polite and considerate. Its not as fast paced as some of the big cities, which makes it a lot nicer to walk the streets.

Battery Boy eventually surfaced and had a quick petit dejuener before heading to the museum at Vieux Port. They then wandered along the port seafront and caught the bus to the Basillica on the mountain overlooking the City of Marseille. It was nice not to be walking up the steep roads to the Basillica as the temperature was now in the mid to high 30's. The views from the Basillica are truly amazing ...

... them cleared real fast when they were standing there with their weapons, which was pretty funny to watch. We never found out what they were doing, but then again maybe we didn't want to know. We just dinked around for the rest of the until it was dinner time. We went to this pizza place, which was yummy. Not the best pizza, but still delicious. The French obviously don't consider pizza a finger food. All these people stared us for ...
