... ve attached string too. When the police are near they snatch up the sheet and run down into the subway. Our next stop on the Gaudi tour was Park Guell. We had to take the metro then hike to get there. Barcelona knows a thing or two about making people climb stairs. The hill is like the one in Prague but they have escalators that go up. You can't see many of Gaudis buildings without paying an entrance fee. We didn't care much to go into the buildings so we just toured the ...

... happens at the end of the film? well we don't, did anyone even press play? - all i know is i woke up to menu music on repeat.
Apparently its 'uncommon' for the Spanish to go to sleep before 12.30' - but nearly everyone went to sleep due to traveling before 10pm. Barcelona is a party we just could not keep up with!

Anyway thats pretty much it for the first night :)

... drop people off and pick them up. I didn't know that to catch a bus back to my place required me to find the bus stop on the other side of the square. So what should have been a 15 minute bus ride turned into a 2 hour tiki tour of Barcelona's suburbs. But it was good value for $3. and I had nothing else planned for the day.

This morning we walked over to la Rambla, a beautiful long pedestrian mall. It was very crowded, with tourists and locals. It was a warm sunny day, and Terry enjoyed being able to wear shorts. There were stalls and touts selling all sorts of tat. We bought something for the boys.
