... first time traveling by myself. My friend Ryan was supposed to pick me up but because of the lack of cell phone and Heathrow only allowing me 45 minutes of wifi I had to make any communication with him via imessage and fast. I waited an hour but it turned out Ryan went to the wrong airport to pick me up so just before my wifi ran out he gave me instructions on how to take London's train system to Paddington station and then take a taxi to his university. There I went again ...

So much that we didn't get around to putting up the tree. Very disappointing. I thought about the family as well. We have been gone for over three months now.
Oh Laurence is also doing well- he is starting to make more friends. He went off to a Christmas jumper party on this day- didn't get home till about 11pm. He is really going to screw his liver. But it will be worth it methinks.
... tart - not bad. With complimentary alcohol and refreshments throughout the journey it made up for the poor interior!
Overall the service was good, the journey was comfortable and it felt like we arrived in Brussels in no time! Much to our disappointed we had standard class tickets for travelling home, it was a nice experience! I'd definitely travel on the Eurostar again and may even look into interrail tickets in the future.

We arrived at Stansted and got a freezing welcome to London with
the temperature 11 degrees but the wind chill factor felt like -1. After passing the
100 questions by Immigration they decided we weren’t shifty and stamped our
passports. Than we boarded the express train to London which took 1hr 10mins. I
also got my first ride on the London tube which is always exciting. Poor mum is
petrified of heights ...
Our first day of the trip was long and busy, to say the least.
