... the Pacific SW side of Costa Rica on the Osa peninsula. The students were ecstatic to arrive safe and finally get here. Spent the night in Sierpe and was lucky enough to get cell phone service and was able to give Courtney a quick call. The next day we woke up at 5:00am and we were on the Sierpe River at 6:00am. We went Kayaking in the mangrove forest, then arrived to Campanario by boat. Everytime I arrive it ...

(For those of you who don’t know, the Tuesday before I flew to Costa Rica a kind elementary school teacher ran a red light and t-boned my car. Luckily she hit the front tire and not directly at the door). Feeling better, on my last ride I got far enough to see Volcano Arenal off in the distance.

... that route. So finally it is my turn to get hooked up and in position to go, and I think they move people through this so fast so u don't have enough time to think about it long enough to chicken out. That's the way it felt because before I knew it I was sailing through the sky, 600 feet above the ground, screaming and holding on for dear life. It was scary as hell and so much fun! And as soon as I got unhooked at the other end, there was the next platform and it was time to go ...
