      The trip started in Muelle on the river called Peņas Blancas. We saw an impressive amount of wildlife on this trip! Highlights:
      - Spectacle owl (orange chest)
      - Crocodile
      - Jesus Christ lizard (so named because it runs ON the water - Brian spotted it on a tree trunk. It wasn't until we got close that we realized what it was)

      Time was definitely getting away from us. We still had so much to see and do before the Wedding in April. So with that in mind we booked our transport for the next morning to the Costa Rican/Nicaraguan border. This left us a smidgin of time to check out the local ficus tree.

      ... to the pacific coast and our hotel in Playa Carillo. It has been 3 days and I had yet to see any howlers...heard them most definitely but not a single sighting. We met several people who said that they saw whole families of them today (Wednesday) at the hanging bridges just up the road from the hotel. With that in mind, I emailed our driver and changed our pick up time to 11. I'm not leaving the rainforest without seeing monkeys...had to squeeze in an early morning Hanging ...
