We love this resort so much that we decided to stay another day and night. The photos of Pocatky were taken from a 16th. century bell tower. We were inside at 12 noon but the bells didn't ring. Thank goodness.

Photo of the time keeper's "nest" are included.

        We both had massages today.

Left our Prague apartment this morning and drove to this fitness resort. Foot massage for 2 (that's people not feet) at 6 PM. Horseback riding at 10 AM, full body massage at 2 and Jacuzzi at 7:30 tomorrow. We should really be relaxed by Tuesday!!

        Great weather, great time.

Our last travel day (not including tomorrow's long flight home) began at 8:30 after breakfast at the hotel in Prague.

Not too much to report here.

We stopped for a break at the town of Tabor, Czech Republic, where we had about 45 minutes to stretch our legs and grab a coffee. Our last chance to get rid of our Czech Crowns (Money).

From there we completed our trip back to Vienna, Austria, with a stop for lunch along the way.

Jan Hus, was another great figure in history here - he was a priest reformer in the late 1300s. Fighting a Corrupt church, high taxes, hierarchy, Have you heard about the Chalice Warriors, or Hussars - that was him. The church wasn't happy about these ideas and they burnt him at the stake. All the Hussites were killed by Catholic Austrian Hapsburg dynasty. We went down country roads ...

... eggs, scrambled eggs, roast bacon, yoghurts, pastries and cakes, fruit juices. muesli, fresh fruit, salad, sausages, salami, pickles and pâté. Part of the fun is seeing what is on offer and making a rational choice without looking too greedy. One day, I will attempt to put everything there is onto one plate and see what happens. Happily, the Grand Hotel Zvon provided a better than average Fruhstuck, yet the Fruhstukraum was absolutely packed. Where had all these people come ...
