    11/11 Corfu

We left the ship late and spent some time using the Port's free wifi. We were heading to the bus stop to take a bus into town when we ran into an enterprising taxi driver. He was waiting at the bus stop instead of in the line of taxis looking for €100 fares to tour the island. He offered us a €10 trip to the historic district and the same back. We found ...

The weather is hot and sunny and although not planned, we decided to bring the bikes out and go for a ride in Greece. However, it was Sunday and we have found that wherever we have been in Europe the traffic has been very light ...

I must say it was better organised for departure although we were still subjected to the same siren as the gangplanks opened. It seemed to go on for ever. I was surprised that none of the workers wore ear muffs. OH&S would never have allowed that in Australia.
Our hotel on Naxos is lovely and right on the beach and we are staying ...

... went back all the way back to the pool bar, got a drink and then went to the dinner area. We were having a Contiki prepared included dinner, it was very nice, then we had a toga tieing demo, as we were having a toga party that night. After dinner we had a Greek island hopping meeting – just a basic run down, with the main thing being that in Athens we would be picked up from the end hotel from this tour and taken to the island hopping start hotel. There were 9 of us going to
