    ... our room, then set off to walk to to the lookout where the sled rides start. But the rain soon got too heavy and we were drenched, so we returned to our room. After lunch in our room we decided that with the weather so bad, we would take the opportunity to use the Hotel's pool and spa.     ... soon after arriving in Bled how the town got it's name. They bleed you dry! It was pouring rain when we got off the bus, so we had to get one of the city's two taxis to take us to our hotel (Kompas Hotel). It cost us 12 euros for a ride that took just 2-3 minutes!     ... in Salzburg was too short to go to the castle so yes to coffee at Starbucks and watching the crowd go by in the main shopping street. Then the really interesting part of the day began . It was a drive of over 200 miles through the alps! Amazing views of the mountains in the Juhan Alps, the eastern end of the Alps.     ... on toast I have ever had!! And then ventured out for the fourth and finally time up the hill to the castle! Which after a cheeky step around the side of the castle we got an amazing (& free) view over the lake and the mountain range around the area.
