... the town which we walked up to and there were little shops and cafes outdoors on the cobbled streets.

We went into the castle which was now a museum and walked around. It turns out that it was a bit of a family mansion and there were old antiques from when they lived there. We could walk up onto the top of the castle and there was a graveyard on the roof and there were views out over the mountains and a lake and the fields. We then had some nice ...

... La Zenia. Soooo, the three of us and Peers and Norman (neighbours), got into a car and went the 5 or so miles to this beautiful sandy beach. We parked up easily then walked a few hundred yards to the beach and we were absolutely BLOWN WAY when we saw the beach...

It was covered in Red and White, as there were so many people on the beach and they were, pretty well all, dressed ...

... can go round to the back garden and have it until sunset. Fantastic.

By 4.30pm I was being whisked off by Peers,(my taxi man), and a couple who live opposite him, Norman and Sue, to go to 'Early Doors'. Apparently there is a northern TV program called this. Set around the comings and goings in a Pub. So, drink in hand, we settled down to 'find out about each other', as you do....then Norman's name is ...

... happened, but I expect John told her. I might well have found myself at the airport and Jill would have been going to my brother's place. Close call.

It was terrific spending quality time with Jill. She and I chatted - probably non stop (except when we slept), for the whole 12 days, and we could have done more time and still been chatting. Great, terrific time spent with a wonderful friend. Jill.
