... It was to be only a 20 km ride to Bolzano and back along bike paths. Richard generously gave up his helmet and hat and Sue was at least safe. I think the original goals of the frescos was to help the rather lowly Vintler brothers gain status in the Tyrolean aristocracy, but if you look closely you can learn a lot about about the culture and styles of the day.
