... are crystal clear. The lakes have been formed from limestone rocks. As we wander alongside the lakes and waterfalls the cameras are clicking continually as every corner presents a new wonder. The crowd is also building up. We reach the end of our first walk and catch the ferry across the lake to the kiosk, restrooms, bus stop and start of the next walks. ... some accomodation (like the previous evening), well all that was left was quite second-rate, to stay polite.
In the end we found ourselves in a tiny dorm, dark and damp, in a strange hostel that made us want so little to stay there (the rain didn't help either) that we gave up our last night to be out of there sooner. But it wasn't that bad because we were on the move again, bag over the shoulder, heading for the islands! :)

We couldn't find this place again we tried - nothing in the books about it, and don't know that we would come this way again. But others should. Next was Primosten which had been me tinned as place to see - after what we'd just had, we drove on through this tourist trap and Simonek was a similar experience so it was on to Vodice where we were staying the night.
