Start in Brno
Woke up. Whats the time? Had my smart phone sync up or not during yesterday
summer/winter time switch? Checking whatsthetime.com, all seems ok, It's
really 4am :-). My bag is smaller than ever. 7kg. Was I so stupid in the
past or I forget to pack something ? Ahh slivovica is still in the fridge.
Going out, zero degress and snow on the cars. Nice start of the trip to the
trops :-).

I've been to see 1 ice hockey match before which was in Sweden and it was nice and all but it wasn't anything like this. Packed out stadium with the best fans in the country going nuts and the one thing Sweden completely missed out was the fights! I have always associated ice hockey with violence and so do the Czech's, I lost count how many fights the players ...

Day 2 in Brno
... not so much! Coach Ben said his meal was excellent even if he didn't order it. Back to the hotel and on to the game against the Czech Hippos. Pitching the first two innings our very own Jeff Donovan who will continue with the hippos until early October. The Warhawks easily won and were able to spend some time at the bar attached to the field visiting with Jeff, Tomas, and the team. Back to the hotel and dinner at the rooftop restaurant of our hotel.
