We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

... grabbing some lunch. We then got back on the bus and then had another little surprise stop in Bosnia. We then continued on our way to Split. In Split we had an orientation walk before having a final dinner. For those of us not heading to Ultra music festival we went out to a lovely quite bar for a final drink and farewell. It was a really interesting tour going to places I would not have otherwise been to, but would like to go back to explore more.

... I spent up a storm. I bought presents for everyone including myself of course. The shopkeeper was a lovely hunk of a man and I fell in love with his look and accent.
Next we found this amazing dress shop where I bought a couple of tops and a greek goddess dress.
Next was the shoe shop where I bought 3 pairs of shoes- these should last me for the next few years.
I was able to buy a greek marble statue and some yummy greek ice cream.

On Friday, after arriving in Saranda, I visited the Blue Eye spring (Syri i Kalter). This is a blue water spring that looks like an eye (hence the name... duh), it originates from a nearby river and its depth is still unknown. The water comes up so forcefull, that if you throw a stone in the spring it will not sink, but stay a float due to the force of the water. Next to the spring there is a gasstation with a little restaurant. Now, restaurant in Albania means: a few tables ...
