Well we made it at last to Sardinia.
The drive to the ferry port was mainly occupied with trying to get a photo of the many fields of sunflowers.
Italian road builders have a habit of placing barricades along the roads if there is a good view.
Also often the sunflowers were looking in the wrong direction. Strangely the sunflowers were …
We all met at 8am, our group of 8, at the pier and, after spotting our driver for the day, got in our van and headed out to explore Sardinia, an island off the coast of Italy. The port city of Olbia isn't much so we went to more popular places where the rich people go. A bit overcast again today. Hopefully it won’t rain.
This tour took us around the island to ...

Great location and great reception staff who went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. Initial problem with WiFi was attended to. Although right on the beach must have car to travel to the many beautiful beaches in northern Sardinia all within 1 to 2 hours drive.
