... resident of 18 had taken her bed and put it on top of her dresser, then removed the dresser shelves and put them on top of the bed (the set up made absolutely no sense, and was in no way necessary to getting the mattress out, which I think was the point). We taped up our remaining signs and turned to go.

And the door lock would not turn.

... to everyone. I highlighted our meeting points of Trafalgar Square and Wellington Arch on each map and handed out as many as I could. I was torn about this decision, because on the one hand I want the kids to have maps in case they get lost, but on the other hand having maps might make them think they can be independent and go out around London on their own. I did make sure that our wandering kid had a copy just in case.
