... western offerings of pizza and burgers. The exception to our Indonesian diet was a rather delicious Thai green curry from Fat Chow. We were at first hesitant to eat here as it was on the trendy side with its pallet seating and exposed brick walls, not to mention the prices - with the main courses costing around IDR 65,000. The flight was short and low so gave us a chance to see some of Java beneath us ...

... in Indo. With the sun setting beautifully, we took off to the next country on our list. A turbulent flight did not lend itself well to sleep and so, slightly shaken and very much awakened, we landed in Denpasar. At least some live guitar music from one of the air stewards lightened the mood! A brief journey took us to the Sunset Hotel, where Eva and Megan were awaiting. There was no time to spare, as we dumped our stuff in the rooms and headed out for the night. It's fair ...
