... crook in the gut was the prospect of missing out on dinner at Mom Kri's restaurant. With a great reputation for both Thai & Western cuisine we made a booking for our final night; the drugs prevailed so we made the journey up the hill to one of the island's culinary treasures. Accompanied by Jo & Adrian we were seated at our table with a magnificent view across the restaurant rockpool and the Andaman Sea (picture attached). ... other one. Whenever you went into a shrine you had to remove your shoes and your cap to go inside. The was also shops at the side of the temples and I got two bracelets, one with the peace sign and another with skulls on. After the temple the taxi driver drove us to karon viewpoint which was basically a huge hill with a shelter on top so you can take photos and see out as far as the horizon. It was really cool until it rained so we went ...
... and mask and came out with Carl. The beautiful fish from first getting into the water encouraged him further and he just kept going and did really well. Even tried without the jacket but because there were no flippers to fit him he got tired quickly and kept getting water in his snorkel. This could also be because he couldn't shut up from telling you about every fish he saw. Sian is just off on her own if she can and loves every minute.

... that blue dress I bought here? Well it appeared its definitely not colour fast, my once pale pink underwear is now violet. My hands and body are also tinged blue, lesson learnt! I wash it in the bath when we get back and I've never seen anything like it, the water went so blue I couldn't even see the dress in it (plus I may or may not have stained the bath :/) I'm still wearing the dress though, needs must, and I'm still a little tinged!
