      Nice hostel

      Strong recommended.
      Nice and helpful staff.
      Cheap price (80 USD for 3 night/2 person).
      15 min walk to patong beach.
      5 min walk to my favorite no,6 restaurant.

The Karon beachfront also has a large amount of construction work going on so wasn't that pleasant to look at either and no trees for shade or anything like there is in Patong.       ... being in the same water as them as they are not only blobby and slimy, but they sting you, and to add insult to injury, if you get stung, someone has to wee on you.       ... for a five minute trip across to Mosquito Island where this time we are straight of the side of the boat over a reef just of shore because of the sharp rocks there. The reef is better than the previous swim and the kids even get off the back and out again even though it is in the middle of the ocean.
