Cantera and Chandelier shops

A travel blog entry by steveandgeorge

... studio. Cantera is a volcanic stone that is soft and easily carved. Many places all over Mexico have artisans carving elaborate pieces. The finished products would be fountains, statues, columns, bird baths, mantels, wall hanging, benches, stools, busts and just about anything else in stone mixed in that you could imagine. We found a simple cantera bowl and pedestal for our fountain. Looks great!

I also wrote twice to Haide to help her making my schedule and chatted with Mr Hubert on Gmail to know if he needed me to be present at his 6 PM French 1 class and get his expectations for my next Tuesday presentation on maple syrup. Then, I ...

In Mexico, our shot glass are bigger!

A travel blog entry by claudetheriault

Yes, that's right! The Mexican shot glasses are bigger than the Canadian ones. We tried it in the evening! This is also when I drank tequila for the first time! Easy would have said Jorge! And it was! However, I didn't drink all day long. No! After taking my breakfast and achieving my daily routine, my Monday morning began with a Skype chat with my girlfriend and ...
