... are Iraqi and Iranian kebab shops, Chinese restaurants, traditional Malay cuisine and Balinese food, all on one street. I knew what I wanted for dinner- if already planned my next meal. ... the train are perfect for making you feel safe as a solo female traveller, and only 4 ringgit for a return ticket (80p)! Had a fab taxi driver on the way home from the station who was particularly knowledgable about Malay history and told me that kuala means where two rivers meet, and lumpur means muddy! ... Italian to have lunch. We then made our way to the mall which is at the base of the petronas towers and were literally in awe. It was floors and floors of every designer going. We then went to the petronas towers and were told that it was fully booked and that we couldn't even buy tickets for the next day, which was great as we weren't gonna be in KL after that. Since everybody was pretty tired from the previous days spent in Singapore we decided not to set the alarm clock and sleep a bit longer that morning. In fact there are not so many things to see in Kuala Lumpur; therefore we could afford to take it easy.
