... ago. It's mind blowing that in such a short time this country has developed from goats hair huts in the desert to 6 lane highways and all the riches of the western world and more! For lunch in the Heritage Village restaurant Dane and I shared fatteh with flat bread (creamy, garlic, yoghurt with chickpeas and meat) It was awesome! I've already looked up a recipe so I can try to make this dish when I get home!

... This is our third time on the MSC Lirica so it is just as well there was no one on board to meet or greet us. We were left to our own devices to find our state room. I just followed Roisin. If this was our first cruise we would feel a bit ‘put out’ as although the Lirica is not the largest ship we’ve been on, it can still be disorientating until you get your bearings.

All decks have a name. Our state room was on deck 10 – Bellini Deck. ...

... in my name in a computer at the entrance to get my token. The computer immdly informed that I have an appointment and was allowed to go straight to one of the counters. One guy immdly registered my passport details and took a picture of me. A minute later I found my self in the doctors room where I had to open my shirt and a breast X-Ray took place. 120 seconds later I walked to another room where they asked if I have any skin diseases . He said that everyone in his office lives in dubai and commutes to Abu Dhabi for work. This has therefore put a bit of a swerve ball on our plans as we were going to live in Abu Dhabi!
