... was absolutely stunning and it got us out of the town for the day. The trip continued in a similar fashion with a bit of rafting and then waiting for 60 people to line up for a photo opportunity for what ever reason.It took 3 hours to travel the 12 km, of which, 40 minutes was rafting. ... The water was perfection. It was 36degrees outside and being in the clear, blue water on the beach furthest away from the circus was great. The fellows there made us feel welcome and served us a welcome coffee. They found a place nearby for us to park and showed us to our simple but sufficient room. From the balcony, we could see some of the ruins that were scattered through town. We went exploring.
