... much everyone speaks English, we've become slightly embarrassed by our lack of language skills, so we attended a Spanish class (one of the many 'activities' put on by the hotel) in a vain attempt to at least say more than 'thank you'. The Spanish I learnt at school (age 11) is a little rusty but soon we were telling our Bulgarian teacher (don't ask) what day it was, what time it was, and that I'd just had a birthday. ... after a quick nap we went down to the beach and a man with a wheel barrel full of ice and fresh fruit was my first stop, he cut up beautiful fresh coconut, pineapple & watermelon. Clive and Chris went out for a cycle today whilst the girls and William drove to Andratx for lunch, gelato and a quick look around.

... we got down there we were surprised there was nothing there - only one restaurant - no boats I only saw one kayak. The water was beautiful and it was a very pleasant place to sit (nice breeze) and watch the waves but not worth the drive. Deia is just a little ( if you sneeze you miss it) typical town.
