... were running super late to do that. The bulk of the drive back to PA was all highway and we ended up choosing a toll road unknowingly but we finally made it to pick Jym up about an hour late. Thus ending our leaf peeping journey. I was so glad I got to make this trip with mom again and to have been in New England when the leaves were at peak was really an experience I will never forget. ...

... short drive off the main road. Very pretty and very easy walk off the road.

We eventually ended up at Lake Champlain where we crossed the bridge and took a short walk to see the Lake Champlain lighthouse. ... New York knows how to build a bike lane. Patrick caught up to me at a general store where I was charging my phone. He was friendly and excited to see me. This ended up happening 3 times today. It seems inevitable that I will ride with him till Vermont. He was being easy going and told me I could stay in Ticonderoga at his hotel if I wanted. A bed, shower, and free breakfast was appealing so I ...

We had to take the hike up Prospect Mountain. It was almost 2 miles to the top and it was a hike straight up! It was a great hike and once at the top the views were fantastic. On a real clear day they say you can see a 100 miles. It wasn't that clear but we could see pretty good. We thought the only way up was to hike but found a big parking lot at the top. We are glad we did the hike ...
