... It drizzled rain right through this 6km long gorge but the sky was clear when we exited the northern end! PM - Had lunch here in Skalni Mlyn, a scungy hot dog with mustard, not a good choice! Had a beer at the hotel restaurant, that went down real fast, then had dinner there which was first class. I had roast duck and Lana had a soup, both were ...

Cool and cloudy 20C

We set off early this morning for the Moravian Karst to visit the Pynkva Cave and Macocha Abyss. We had reserved tickets for the tour at 10am and needed to arrive 40 mins early to pick up the tickets. We caught a train from Brno at 8.30 then a bus from Blansko to the ticket office. When we arrived there seemed to be a problem that they called ...

... eyes something Tom Tom lacks. Luckily/miraculously I asked a random lady about our dilemma. She spoke a little English, and just happened to be the proprietor of our accommodation, just doing some work in an office near by, and shows us the way to the reception round the corner on the main street! Thank you Lord! It had been another super hot day and we were all nearly expired...quick prayer... please let this place have air-con!
