From here I head to wine country in Hunter Valley - I am just hoping that the rain that has been hanging around will fade away for my next 5 weeks that is mainly based around the beach! As you can imagine, we have been busy bees but we are loving it so far and there are plenty more adventures coming up including a visit to see the koalas at Sydney Zoo, climbing the Harbour Bridge and dinner at the Sydney Tower Eye.

We will keep you updated on what we get up to and we hope you guys are all having your own adventures at home!

Saturday's programme featured a matinee performance of Mozart's Magic Flute which was sold out, however, a small number of standing room seats would go on sale on the morning of the performance. So with an early start I was there queuing before the box office opened and managed to secure a ticket. Making use of the free wifi at the SOH, I skyped home from the steps - a slightly surreal feeling looking at the screen and seeing my camera featuring me against ...
