After a very 'rolly' night anchored off Playa Blanca last night we were up before sunrise once again and motored down to the bay we were in the previous night near Papagayo for another day of sunbathing, swimming and fishing. Again the fish were being very elusive and I only managed to catch one decent pan fish which Tracey has claimed as hers. After lunch we sailed over to Corrallejo on Fuertaventura and anchored into the Marina, Tim our first guest comes tomorrow and ...

Change of scenery but Still Anchored Off

... and generally relaxing while on a sail boat - you need to try it, honestly you'll love it. We moved over to Playa Blanca around 3pm just for a change of scenery but the anchorage here seems very prone to swell, especially when the tide is rising. I did snorkel over the anchor though earlier and she is well fast in sand so fingers crossed we will sleep better tonight, but tomorrow we will be moving over ...

... total freedom, no one around to bother you and just merrily bobbing up and down with the water lapping at the sides of the boat - it is pure Heaven. As the sun went down we made dinner and just enjoyed the solitude of this beautiful anchorage, if the batteries are ok tomorrow we may well stay another ...

... fees here, we also got a free night here as well so Rubicon as been a bit of a bonus. After Lunch we sunbathed on deck for a few hours before eventually venturing out for a long walk around Playa Blanca to work up an appetite for the Paella I made for dinner, then simply watched a DVD before bedtime, it was a very lazy relaxing day - I think the Spanish are rubbing off on ...

... so we wandered down to check out the ferry service to Fuertaventura because we have our first 'crew' member flying in on Friday and we are weighing up the options. We stayed around Playa for a couple of hours before having a sundowner and then returning to the boat to watch another film. I hope it's better than the **** we watched last night.Tomorrow is yet another Bank Holiday here in Spain, so a lazy beach day tomorrow before we go hell for leather Tuesday getting things ...
