Would love to go back to Agadir with more time to shop and enjoy the beaches. Saw lots of blond Europeans in the resort area. Of note our guide/taxi driver kept calling Phillip "little Ali Baba" ...

      Puerto del Rosario

A travel blog entry by maxieduncan on Jul 10, 2014

I decided a night in Puerto del Rosario might be good for a change of scene and I had an early flight in the morning. I probably should have listened more to what I'd been told, it's more industrial and not so enjoyable. For my last three days I rented a car, but before that, I went on an all-day bus tour around Fuerteventura. There were stops at an aloe vera facility, a goat farm, scenic lookouts and two towns with notable churches. It was informative and ...

      Champagne and chocolate. For breakfast

A travel blog entry by jim.p.smith on Feb 11, 2014

This morning I had (amongst other things) a glass of champagne and some chocolate (a chocolate doughnut) for my breakfast. After that we got a taxi into Playa Blanca, and went over to Fuerteventura for the day on the Fred.Olsen Express fast ferry (note that the full stop between Fred and Olsen was intentional, that's how it seems to be written ...
