Later, we had to pay €50 for a three minute ride over to the other side of the canal to join the ship.

Le Lyrial is a strange beast. The newest (launched April 2015) of five small luxury boutique mini cruise liners owned by France’s Ponant Yachts, it was specifically designed for adventure tourism in absolute luxury ...

Tonight was Andrea's last night with us so we had a final dinner sitting by a canal as the sun set. Kent, our new tour leader, and the three new members of our troop joined us for dinner. ... the Carnereggio. It is another interesting area. According to the guide books, it is a working class area and the part we walked on was very nice with a wide boulevard to walk down with many outdoor eating areas and open stalls with fruits, veggies and other things to buy. Would be nice to spend some more time in this area.

Back to Calle dei Preti for another glass of wine before calling it an evening.
