Left this morning Genora where Christopher Columbus was born, stopping in Pisa...Amazing Leaning Tower...lots of pics. Left Italy Travelling thru over 170 Tunnels thr the mountains. We're going to Monte Carlo tomorrow night for dinner...passed it today with all the yatchs in the Harbour

Some interesting folk on the trip- Tanaya from Christchurch NZ along with her sister Ashleigh, Rachel, a country girl from somewhere near Orange, Katie- a nanny from London, Lara from Coldstream, Melbourne; and funnily enough, two other guys from South Australia- one, Quentin, from Glenelg and one, Dave, from Mylor who we mutually recognised from his patronage at the cinema. ...

I counted 3 Rolls Royces (including the one seen here), 3 Bentleys, at least 4 Porsches, 1 Aston Martin, 1 Jaguar, 1 Ferrari (red), 1 Lamborghini, and 2 Smart Cars!
... and I climbed Chateau Hill, a 92
meter high hill that overlooks all of Nice. From there we climbed down to the
harbor that had yachts from all over the world; London, Rhode Island, Monaco
etc. all equipped with a captain
and crew and a hot tub, just incase the vast ocean isn’t enough. That night we went
into the old part of Nice and had a very tasty dinner including me sampling crème
brulee, chocolate fondue, and a ...

The wide promenade of Nice is made for strolling and enjoying the sun, ocean views and the many paintings from local artists.
