We have time for a quick breakfast before jumping off the boat and saying goodbye to our first ever cruise. It was a great 4 days aboard, I now see the attraction and why they are so popular. We jump on a bus and head for the Athens acropolis and pantheon. Our tour leader Alex is the best we have had so far. We left Preveza at 1 p.m. ...

Our last stop was cruising around Skorpio island. This island belonged to Ari Onassis, who was the richest man in the world then. His son Alexander died in a helicopter accident. Skorpios island is now owned by a Russian billionaire.

The next morning we left Lefkada and stayed in Patra for one night.

... these buildings.

This was my first sea swimming of the year and I didn't want to get out of the water, it was terrific and although a bit cooler than I would like, it was refreshing and the beginning of our Season.

That night we had Thunder and Lightening and some rain, but we heard that in Nydri, where we had been previously, the weather so bad that people were getting ready ...
